First Harvest

A beautiful, moody star shaped ward. I used maroon, cinnamon, and pine colored chiffon layered with lace crochet ribbons to really bring in the feeling of the autumn season. The grapevine is adorned with soft reindeer moss, strawflower, and goldenrod. Hanging from the ribbons is three antique brass bells that have the most lovely patina finish. 

The green glass bottle is filled with genuine garnet chips for added protective energy. The combination of jewel tones and antique inspired details gives this piece a moodier character that I just love so much!

Traditionally hung near doorways and entrances, witches bells are believed to ward away unwanted energy while protecting the home and those within it. The ringing of the bells is said to cleanse stagnant energy and announce the presence of anything that does not belong.
